how to play.
understand the game. then master it.
what is a catalyst market?
a perpetual market on a real event. no expiration or tricky conditions. it will either happen or not. each market has one catalyst (the event) and one outcome (what your money becomes). trade the market as long as the event hasn’t occurred.
fuse — the long side
buying the token is a conditional long on the event. the price is the crowd’s live conviction, and it can ebb and flow forever. exit anytime by selling ahead of the outcome. fuse market fees are currently set to be 3% below $500K market cap, 2% from $500K, and 1% from $1M.
fade — the other side
deposit cash into the fade pool to bet the catalyst never fires. 50% of the fuse market’s trading fees compound into the fade pool so your fade position grows in place, effectively earning yield. if the catalyst fires, the entire fade pool is immediately airdropped to fuse holders as their premium. fade deposits have a one hour cooldown before any withdrawals can be made to prevent abuse.
fire — the moment
we run detection infra that watches for each catalyst event in real-time. the very instant it occurs, liquidity from the fuse market drains and atomically swaps into the outcome token. the purchased tokens are immediately airdropped pro-rata into fuse holders’ accounts along with the entire fade pot. the goal is to be earliest to react ahead of any price action the catalyst would bring. fire conversions charge a 1% flat fee on conversion volume of the outcome token.
